CROP CIRCLE CORN PRODUCES MUTATION?

Strange corn mutation
The result of Peggy's planting.

In 2004 in a corn field near Miamisburg, Ohio, a crop circle appeared. The circle was investigated by Jeff Wilson, director of ICRAA Jeff concluded that the circle was not a hoax after doing extensive analysis on the field and corn within the circle.

Strange lights were seen and photographed by SOAAR researcher Sharon Phelps a few days after the circle was found. A short time later samples of the corn were taken from within the circle itself. This corn was later planted to see if any anomalies would appear.

SOAAR director, Donnie Blessing planted a few kernels. The germination period was about one half of the time for normal corn. The plants grew quickly but bore small deformed ears with only a few kernels on each ear.

SOAAR hypnotherapist Peggy Gorsuch, planted one kernel in a flower pot this past summer to see what would happen. The result of that planting is pictured here.

As you can see from the photo, the corn kernel from the circle produced a startling almost unidentifiable corn plant. The stalk of corn looks more like some kind of bush with multiple shoots with tassels.

What caused this strange "mutation" of a single corn kernel? Even though it was planted in a pot, the corn should still have had a normal stalk even if it was stunted in growth.

Comments are welcome!

Local Cleveland Alien Abduction Group on Newscast

Susan Greenwald and Craig Jaccock were featured on a Fox 8 newscast recently in Cleveland, Ohio. They discussed Susan's Alien Abduction Group. Ms. Greenwald is a licensed independent social worker who helps those who believe they have been abducted. Private counseling is available. Craig was interviewed about his encounters, exploring an x-ray showing an unidentified object within his body-perhaps, an implant. Mr. Jaccock has never had surgery-yet a surgical scare is visibly observed from his back. He is considering having surgery to remove it for research purposes. The interview was considered serious. It was handled with dignity and respect. The interview has now been picked up by Phoenix, Arizona's fox affiliate. It will be viewed on February 21, 2006.

November Meeting SOAAR DIRECTOR DONNIE BLESSING WITH TIM HAMMOND AND VELMA HINES

A good time was had by all at the alien abduction support group meeting held at the College Hill Library on November 26, 2005. On hand for the group meeting was Timothy L. Hammond and his girlfriend Velma. Tim came to talk about his recently released book "Chillicothe UFO Chronicles." In the book Tim talks about how he and a fellow officer were on patrol at the VA hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio when they suddenly had a close encounter with a UFO and occupants outside the hospital. The date was November 26, 1983. The time was around 4:55 AM.

Anyone interested in purchasing Tim's book, please check with Barns and Noble, Amazon.com, the publisher, Xlibris or go to Chillicothe UFO Chronicles on the web: http://www.chillicotheufochronicles.net.

More investigations concerning this case should be explored. I would like to reopen the case and find more information. Over the next few months I will be looking for anyone who can shed more light on what happened or happened to people involved in the case. If Tim agrees to a regression we may uncover information that has been hidden in his subconscious.

If anyone has information concerning this case please call me at 513-681- 4077. Your identify will be kept private.

UFO Encounter at Chillicothe VA Hospital
By Cassandra Klesch

On November 19, 2005,The Cleveland Ufology Project's (CUP) guest speaker was Tim Hammond, author of The Chillicothe UFO Chronicles. 1983 was an exceptional year for Army veteran Tim Hammond. Unwittingly, he became part of a UFO drama while working as a police officer at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio. While on patrol with his partner on November 26th, at 4:55 a.m., Tim and his partner responded to a report that a bright light was in the eastern sky. Tim and his partner saw a sphere beaming a light into the VA hospital, which later was found to have paralyzed employees and patients. The object moved and positioned itself above Tim's cruiser. Said Tim of what he witnessed, "whole 'nother earth get next to ours." He could barely see the edges of the craft from where he stood. As two green cartridges came from the ship to collect him and his partner, telepathically he was told not to be frightened. Then, Tim saw a tall, slim alien and little chairs occupied by what he thought were alien children or students. They seemed as surprised to see Tim as he was to see them. He was asked if he wanted to go with them. Because of this incident Tim suffered nightmares and fear of ridicule.

Attending the CUP meeting with Tim was Velma Hines. In 1984, Velma was abduceted by three to four hooded figures one night while sleeping. Velma recalls the tallest looking into her eyes and saying, "she has seen enough and she is not to see anymore." The next thing Velma new she was back in bed, paralyzed. Interestingly, the figures remained with her until they felt she was well and safe. After the beings left, Velma got up and looked out the window and noticed lights in the sky. A helicopter followed about ten minutes later. Because, the beings looked after her welfare, Velma was not traumatized by the incident.

Former VA Officer Writes The Chillicothe UFO Chronicles

Tim Hammond is still trying to uncover what happened when lights appeared in the sky during his watch in 1983. 'It reminded me of a Xerox machine and it was almost like there were images being reflected back to that craft ... It was very scary.

By JONA ISON
Gazette Staff Writer

Tim Hammond, a former officer for the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center, just wanted to do his job.

As the first black officer hired at the local VA in 1982, Hammond, who now resides in Dayton, is still trying to uncover what happened when lights appeared in the sky during his watch in 1983. He also has fought the stigma of being crazy like his former chief thought he was, Hammond said.

"I received written notices from the chief about it ... In the meantime, I had VA employees coming forth to give me more information," Hammond said.

The culmination of Hammond's research has evolved into a book named "The Chillicothe UFO Chronicles" which he expects to be available within the next few months through Xlibris, an online publisher.

Hammond's experience with the supernatural began late one night in 1983 when a ward nurse called security about lights in the sky. As he approached the building, he said he saw yellow lights coming nearer to the building.

"I knew to look up to the sky (because of the call). Otherwise, I probably would have driven right by it," Hammond said.

"It reminded me of a Xerox machine and it was almost like there were images being reflected back to that craft ... It was very scary. I got out of the cruiser and started to run."

After the incident, Hammond, now 48, worked at the VA until 1987 and continued researching similar occurrences. He said some departments at the hospital had been reporting sightings since 1959 and while he was working there, two more occurrences were reported to him in 1986.

His curiosity about the occurrence he witnessed has never left him and it took therapy, he said, to rid himself of nightmares about that 1983 night.

"I would wake up at 3 and 4 a.m. screaming ... I was worried my neighbors would hear me and think I was crazy, but other times I hoped they would (hear me) so they could help me," Hammond said.

Hammond's nightmares have dwindled down to just one in the past seven years, he said. However, during that time his research has continued and has now culminated in his book, the second time Hammond has had his work published.

"The Public UFO Illuminator Research Package" was published in 1991 and is part of the "William E. Jones UFO Collection" at The Ohio State University Library.
