SIGHTINGS FOR 2004
Subject: Jan M. (name on file)
Date: April 4th, 2004 - 8:50 PM
Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Summary:
Jan M. related to me that on April 4 of this year around 8:50 PM her baby began to cry so she decided to walk out on the first floor deck of the apartment building she was in. The baby stopped crying and so she looked up in the sky stating that she is a sky watcher. She suddenly spots an object coming in her direction. This object was coming from the North and was in the direction of Jungle Jim's food market across route 4. The claimant went on to say that the object had many colored stationary lights on it. She says she does not remember how many but they were blue, orange and yellow. She believes there were about 6 different colors but does not remember the rest of the colors. She described the movement of the object coming towards her as winding like a car going down a curvy road. The height of the object was between 300-500 feet up. She states that she could see the object well and that it was shaped like boomerang with an extra projection sticking out one side. It was solid, somewhat flat and thin looking she says. The lights were at the corners of the object.
The object was about the size of the setting sun or a regular size round kitchen table. The object made a 360 degree turn around her apartment building and then a 180 degree turn before leaving to the South. She said that the object made a humming like sound accompanied by what she said sounded like a whooshing sound as if a fan was sucking air in or out. As the object moved away is did not move off fast but just a little faster then an airliner. It gained altitude as it left. The object was in view for about one minute.
The reason she called was because she had seen the article on the website about the sighting on March 27th of a UFO in Fairfield. She asked details about that which I read to her over the phone. She then said that it did not sound like the object she had seen. I told her to call me if she remembers anymore details of the object or finds anymore witnesses to the event.
