SIGHTINGS FOR 2004
THREE INCIDENTS HAPPENS TO SAME WITNESS. FIRST INCIDENT EXPLAINED.
Name: Josh H.
Age: 23
City: Hartville, Ohio
Subject: Red lighted object seen near Akron Canton Regional Airport. Reason for sighting found.
Date: August 2nd, 2004 - 11:43 PM
Location: Akron, Ohio
Summary:
On August 2nd of 2004 around 11:43 PM. Josh Harris (name used with permission) saw what he described as a red light very near the Akron Canton Regional Airport. Josh has just stepped outside to smoke a cigarette when he looked towards the airport which is in a north westerly direction. The airport is about 15 minutes from his house. Josh states he can see the radar or search light of the airport very clearly from his house. The search light was moving but it never turned far enough for the light to shine onto the red light. The light held stationary then suddenly disappeared. The red light was gone for about a minute. When it reappeared it was bigger and now was a very bright white light. The light began to sway in a pendulum fashion from side to side. Josh says that he ran inside to get his camera. By the time he got back the light was gone and did not reappear. At arms length he said that the white light appeared to be as big as his thumb nail which would have made the object very large.
Investigation:
On August 16th at 10:30 AM I contacted the radar room at the Akron Canton Regional Airport at 330-966-9534 I spoke with Dave Agnes. Mr. Agnes was very nice and said that he would check the archive records for the date and time in question. After reviewing the records he would call me back. On August 17th at 8:15 Am Mr. Agnes called me back saying that he found what the witnesses had seen. It seems that a strange situation had taken place with an Akron/Canton hospital helicopter. The helicopter which is called a SA-CONE-NA. Not sure of the spelling, was off duty and near the airport area when it received an emergency call in the northwestern direction. Just as the helicopter was to maneuver in that direction another cll comes in saying cancel that run and go Ravenna. It then swung in the opposite direction. It was then told to cancel that run and it swing around again to go back in its original destination. Me. Agnes explained this was just a bizarre set of events that would have made the helicopter appear to swing back and forth. That is also why the witness would have first seen the red light from the helicopter and then later see the headlights has it changed directions. Mr. Agnes explained that he was surprised as he listened to the tapes. He was not expecting to find anything on the tapes. He said that the witness had a good eye to notice all the activity. I thanked Mr. Agnes for his time and efforts in helping me track down the source of the lights.
Additional Reports by Witness:
Missing time reported by three people who saw black triangle
In the summer of 2001 or 2002 Josh Harris (name used with permission) and two friends were out driving one night around 10:30 PM. in Jackson Township on Woodland St. near Akron, Ohio. They suddenly saw what appeared to be a triangular object hovering about 400-500 feet off the ground near a church. Around the same time they spotted this object the radio on their pickup truck began to scramble its signal. Sacred but curious they pull into the church parking lot to get a better look. They then got out of the truck. The triangular object was described as very large. About the size of a ranch style house with a white light at the corners of each point of the triangle. No sound came from the craft but Josh states that a coldness emanated from close to the area of the object. Josh stated that it was a warm night but in the area they stood there was a very distinct drop in temperature.
Josh also went on to say that it was very quite as they stood there looking at the craft. Not a sound could be heard. No summer insects or cars sounds. As Josh put it "you could have heard a pin drop." The three men stood watching this object for what they believed to be 5-10 minutes. The object finally descended behind the trees. Josh said that he thought maybe the object was going to land. The three of them decided they had seen enough and were becoming more frightened. They get back into their truck to leave. However, Josh said that he just happened to look at his watch and it was much later then it should have been. He told met hat he believed that at least 45 minutes of time had passed when he was certain it should have not been more then 5-10 minutes tops. One of his companions that was 16 at the time says "Whoa, that's messed up! At that point they were more scared then ever and left the area in a hurry.
Investigation:
On August 16th I contacted a Ronnie Black (name on file) who Josh Harris said was involved in the black triangle incident. Ronnie told me that this happened either July or August of 2003 after Josh and his friend got back after seeing the black triangle Ronnie gathered some friends to go back out to the site. Josh went with them to point out the area. Several friends met around midnight at a restaurant and taking two vehicles back to the spot where the triangle was seen. Ronnie noted that it was a hot night but when they arrived at the spot where the triangle had been seen a cold area was still noted. Ronnie said that he got in the car and put on a sweat shirt. He said that he and his friends walked around the area The object did not reappear. Ronnie told that he could not explain this cold area. After leaving the area he noticed that the temperatures were warm again and he took off his sweat shirt.
Dark gray unknown creature seen crossing road
In October of 2003 Josh Harris (name used with permission) was driving near his parents home on Wright Rd. It was around 2-3 AM in the morning hours. Josh was driving with high beams when he suddenly spotted some type of creature run across the road about 25 yards in front of him. "It was definitely not a deer" exclaims Josh. "It was on all fours" traveling in a somewhat jogging or running fashion. Once on the other side of the road near a soybean field it stood up on it's back legs. Josh explained that this creature was nearly 6 feet in length. Once standing he estimated it at 8 feet allowing two feet for leg length. Josh explained to me that this thing was very hard to describe. It was charcoal gray all over. Was not able to tell if there was hair or fur on it. He said the legs were the hardest to describe. No animal that he has ever seen had legs like it. The foot was either a claw like appendage or a hoof. The strangest part of Josh's description came when he described the head. He could not see the eyes when it turned to look at him once across the road. Head was shaped like the typical gray alien except much wider. Large cranial at top becoming more narrow as it came down. He estimated its weight at about 200 lbs. medium build with no visible neck or tail. He said he didn't hear any sounds being made by the creature or in the area but feels it was due because he had the heater and radio on. The creatures was in sight for about a minute before it ran off out of sight on its hind legs. I asked Josh if there was a chance it could have been a bigfoot or bear? He said that was out of the question due to the fact that no long or medium length hair could be seen. If it had hair it had to be very short or blend right into the total gray effect of the creature.
